It has been over two centuries since the reign of King William and the banishment of the ladies' society,a society tasked with the protection of the prince.

All this changes when Amelia is born. Like her mother before her, she is chosen to perform the duty that many ladies of the ladies' society covet. It is after these two centuries and with the coming to power of King William III that the society is re-enacted.

Amelia Green is trained to become the most lithe and lethal protecter of the kingdom's most prized possession. She realizes that the fate of the kingdom depends on her skill but fails to notice that she will seal the fate of another
