Marie can't seem to get anything right these days. Either her parents, friends, or her boyfriend, Lawrence, are always mad at her for something. Then, one night as she lies awake, she realizes things that are sure to alter the future of her life and the future of her self-worth. Maybe she deserves better, and maybe her boyfriend isn't the sweetheart she thought he was. And, from there, things start to get messy.
A real-time story which follows the lives of some teenagers going to high school in the United States, "Fake" is a series of events that discusses topics that aren't talked about enough in the media, hopefully without getting too boring or cliché.
This story takes the format of the Norwegian show "Skam." However, it isn't a fanfiction. It simply uses the real-time, days-of-the-week format. Hope you enjoy. :)

Brooklyn Nova didn't have an easy childhood. Her mother passed away when she was young, her and her older brother moved out of their father's house when she was 15. She's in her junior year of college and she's living her life to the best. She's been dating her boyfriend for a year and some months and she's happy with him.
