Growing up, Dearra was always well taken care of. Anything she wanted or needed was placed in front of her at the snap of a finger. Keondre on the other hand, had to work and grind for what he wanted and needed. He's done everything from stealing to pimping to drug dealing and doesn't plan on stopping any time soon. During Dearra's last year of college, she's cut off and has to fend for herself for the first time in forever. She's homeless for two weeks before she finds a job as a bank teller and rents a small apartment that she can finally call her own.

Bank robberies are on the rise and everyone from Keondre's hood wants a piece of the pie. After weeks of planning, Keondre and three other local hustlers all band together to rob the bank Dearra works at. Dearra finds out more about the robbery than she needs to know and she's stuck between ratting Keondre and his crew out to the police and putting her life in jeopardy or to harboring a fugitive and possibly going down with them.

"They call you princess?" Aiden's bright green eyes followed my every move. I gulped, pulling a lose curl behind my ear nervously at his scrutinizing gaze. "Yeah." "Queen is more befitting, don't you think?" -------------------------- Meet Tiana Moore. Or as she was known in her neighborhood, Princess. A 17 year old girl, living in Tower Groves Park, the only neighborhood she's ever known. To some people Tower Groves was the 'ghetto' or the 'hood', but to her and her family it was just home. Her father had spent years trying to rebuild Tower Grove while keeping the gang's and violence to a minimum and ensuring safety to the dozens of kids who lived in Tower Grove. Reggie Moore was the most well respected man in Tower Grove. That was until he was gunned down outside of his restaurant and his family now had a permanent target on their back. Tiana and her mom packed up and moved out of Tower Grove a week after her father's murder to ensure her safety, but now she was in a new neighborhood, with a new school, and new friends. Meet Aiden Price. 17 year old good boy gone 'bad'. What happens when Tiana and Aiden are pushed together for an art project find out they they both have so much more in common than what meets the eye? Come along and watch as Tiana and Aiden 'fight' gangs, make love, and build the strongest relationship. Plus, there may be a few kidnappings here and there...who knows? -------------------------- "Uh." I slap his arm across the table. "Seriously, you're a small dick!" "I just complimented you!" Nhazul Kasaki had always been the type to stand out in a crowd, though not for reasons anyone would call admirable. At twenty-two, he was nearing the end of his med school tenure at Lanyard University, a place he had excelled academically but found suffocatingly dull. His grades were pristine, his professors praised his potential, and the wild dorm parties offered plenty of distractions, but none of it filled the gnawing void inside him. Imaz Gray, on the other hand, had never thought of herself as a criminal. At twenty-two, she was a rising star at Harper College, a computer science major with a knack for coding and a smile that could light up a room. Where Nhazul was sharp and biting, Imaz was warm and inviting. Making friends had always come easy to her; she was the type of person who remembered your birthday, asked how your day was, and genuinely cared about the answer. The robbery should have been simple. Nhazul was supposed to be nothing more than a bystander, picking up a late-night snack. Imaz was supposed to be behind the scenes, out of sight and out of danger. But things rarely go as planned in Harper City.
