But Marcel Gerard, the vampire who worked side by side with the Dragomirs in rebuilding this city after the Mikaelsons destruction came to save her. And since then he had locked her up in an attic for her own safety, where to many they had thought the Dragomir line had died out, but when the Mikaelsons return back to New Orleans, Vasalisa still being alive starts to create a problem for those who are alive and those who are long dead. Where when a certain Mikaelson who has always had an affiliation for witches, he finds himself falling for the powerful moroi princess of New Orleans.
