Emily Wolfgang has not an easy life. Finding out that she is a werewolf when she was seven years old, and then watching her grandmother, die of old age & then losing her mother to cancer.

Her brother Brad, is busy with werewolf training, and is already a member in the Willow Creak pack. Emily's father is the Alpha of the pack, and though he is proud of Brad, he is ignoring Emily until she turns and develops to full wolf.

At school it's no different. Emily is plain and boring, but always kind.

Her best friend Cassandra, is different. She is the opposite, and likes making people suffer and laughing at their pain.

When Caleb Sanders - A rough but kind and loving male werewolf, with a strong Alpha bloodline, moves to the sad little town of "Willow Creak", he meets Cassandra and falls for her seductive ways. He finds her, and because of her dormant wolf, he thinks she's human. Soon she goes missing, because her pack members sold her to a rogue pack. Alex searches, and searches, but cannot find her. Her wolf has to completely go dormant, because it's just causing her pain and she would died of she didn't. Alex thinks that she's dead, because he felt the connection between them break. He finds another girl to be his mate, and when Ashleigh is found, she is heartbroken. Not only was it her pack that made her suffer through all that because they sold her, but her mate had given up on her because her wolf had to go into dormancy. She falls into severe depression, and develops a form of PTSD, that was formed from the shock she had from her pack and mate's betrayal. She isn't happy anymore, and that brightness she had in her personality is gone, leaving a husk of her former self. Will her pack and mate right their terrible wrongs, and bring her back to her former glory, or will they carry on with how they are, and have her fall into a comatose like state?
