If you stand for something, nothing can make you fall. Gabriela Gonzales Mason is just a girl trying to make it to the next day, everyday is survival, but she doesn't let that get in the way of happiness. You could say she's the sweetheart of the streets. Everyone knows her name, and she's known for her kind heart. In the projects of LA she lives split between the two gangs, on no side, and hate fights, she's probably the only reason why everyone gets along[or hasn't yanked each other's heads off]. It's hard trying to balance her life between school, a grave yard shift at the diner and her boiz and she just happen to catch the eye of a boy[Justin] she knows who he is, but doesn't give that any right to fall into his arms in the snap of his fingers. No matter how hard he tries She's not letting him in so easily, she decided that this is her game, and only the true boy could win her world. Justin doesn't give up, he risks for her, and Gabriela liked that; no one has ever done that before-- but she's got his heart in her hands and shes not letting go. Stuck between choices she built up a wall and threw away the key, but everyone falls, and let's their faith go wild and and their fear disappear;eventually. What ever happened to the 'game plans' she made were gone because she lets him break all the rules and take the short cuts. Gabriela lost control I guess, She let her heart drive. And now, now She's just cruising along. I guess, everybody falls. [the dates aren't completely accurate but just go along it's a fanfic anything can happen lol]
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
OR
Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
