Meet sweet, gullible Robyn Taylor, a beautiful naive girl like any other teenager. Intelligent and charming Robyn has never had problems, until recently, when someone from her childhood returns to ruin her high school days. And no, it's not the typical "good nerd turned into bad boy". It's her twin Calvin. Yeah. Complete opposites, and yet he has so much significance in Robyn's last years of school for which she should, or might, thank him later on in her life. But for now, they so do not agree on a single thing.

Then there's Xavier Francis, a hot Spanish who gets along fine with everyone but won't ever interact with Robyn, because of the lies her brother told Xavier about her. Bad, unbelievable falsities. That's what twins are for, aren't they, there to keep away people they don't particularly like.

Except for Calvin, he does it out of spite and entertainment. Just for laughs. Nothing to be taken so seriously.

"What do you want?" Robyn asked quietly, not bothering to look up from her book. She had to read, unlike this pathetic excuse for a human being in front of her.

"Let me explain, I didn't mean to ruin your self-esteem," Calvin tried desperately to convince his twin to forgive him.

This time, she had enough. Slamming her book shut, she glared at him.
"Oh, you mean that you want my forgiveness after you humiliated me? After you told my 'dear' soulmate that I'm not 'good enough' because I'm not human?"

Let me rewind from the beginning, from where it all started. It will explain a lot up to this disastrous point.

The Rider's Legend

52 parts Complete

Hated by the people she's sworn to protect, dragon rider Neely Lynch searches for her stolen dragon while struggling to control the dark powers inside her. ***** After the Culling of Naughton -- a horrific slaughter that led to the murder of several dragon riders and the destruction of two separate armies -- Neely Lynch is on the warpath. Unbeknownst to most, Neely and her friends survived the Culling and are determined to reunite with their kidnapped dragons at any cost (even if that means leaving a trail of broken and bloody bodies behind them). But finding her dragon soon becomes the least of her problems when Neely discovers her disappearance after the Culling has only added to her reputation as the infamous Vidalin Rider. Hated and scorned by the people she's sworn to protect, Neely must find a way to prove she's not the villain everyone thinks she is before her dark and deadly powers, which are slowly growing beyond her control, transform her into the very thing she's trying not to be. [The Rider's Legend can be read as Book 3 in The Rider series, or as a standalone -- but note that it will spoil Book 1 and 2] [[word count: 150,000-200,000 words]]
