The two main characters, Aaru and Xena reside in this story. Both having separate pasts, they join together to help one another escape from each other's horrible nightmare.

Aaru Riverstone was found on the port of the great city, Xero by an old fisherman. Aaru actually has no memory of her past and just decided to stay with the man. She made to complaint whenver he told her to work and work until she couldn't any longer. Often abused, she decided to roll onto her own two feet and lead herself out with her trusted blade. It was the only thing she had been left with when she found herself on the port and seems to be the only clue to her memories and real past. Aaru ventures out into the streets until she had killed somebody. Someone important. And she now sees herself on the walls of the streets. Wanted: Dead or Alive [Illustration of Aaru]

Xena was a young girl bred from the most vicious of ancient animals. She was a specimen. One of her kind. No one was as fast, smart, strong, or beautiful as her. She was made to help her owner or master hunt down bounties and retrieve money, almost like a robot. Xena held no emotions for other humans and always went for the kill. When her master set her out on one specific bounty, something catches her and stops her from taking the kill. She becomes self aware and protects her prey instead.

Completed with sketches of some of the events, I hope this story is enjoyable to you to read as it is for me to write. <3
