She's just turned eighteen-restless, curious, and far too aware of the man who's always been in the background of her life. He's her father's best friend-recently divorced, emotionally bruised, and old enough to know better. At a summer backyard barbecue, one accidental touch changes everything. A spark. A look. A moment neither of them can shake. What begins as tension builds into something dangerous-something they're both too scared to name. Because some lines should never be crossed. But some desires don't care. A slow-burn, age-gap romance wrapped in heat, heartache, and the ache of forbidden want.
