I need to leave. It's not safe for the kingdom. I spared myself one last glance at the beautiful blue of the ocean, my home. A home I would never be able to return to. "I'm sorry father." I whispered, seeing the waves gently bounce off the shore. "I'm sorry I failed you." And with that, I ran. *** A world, surrounded by endless miles of the beautiful ocean waves. A world of sirens, with captivating voices, possessing the great ability to manipulate water. And me, the future heir to this world. The Queen of Avalon. But I've never belonged. And in one day, everything as I knew it was gone. I am their Queen. But I am a storm, and I bring great danger. My powers must be kept hidden, for the safety of my people. For lighting and water don't mix.

A swim gone wrong causes my twin sister to begin to fear the water. She barely even touches it. I went missing when it happened, everyone thinks I drowned, and died. I did drown, or rather I started to, but then a bright light shown down on me during a full moon and turned me into a mermaid, one drop and 10 secs later a tail. I love it! I've always wanted to be a mermaid, our little sister was barely just born, I didn't know how to face my family, so I guess I just have lived in the ocean. I have all the girls powers, this was no accident, this is fate. This is amazing!
