There's a boy who sits in the desk in front of Frank's in Calculus. He wears pastel cardigans and sweatpants. He's kind of chubby, not that Frank minds. It's just who he is, and he's totally cute. His nose is kind of upturned, and he has tiny teeth. His hair is jet black and just a liiittle bit below his shoulders.

His name is Gerard, and he's been Frank's best friend ever since he moved into town.
His partner in crime.
The Pumba to his Timon. (Which one was the meerkat? He couldn't remember.)
The Beavis to his Butthead? He's never seen that show, honestly.
Whatever. The point is, Gerard was, and still is, Frank's closest companion.
Never in a romancey way, though. It wasn't that he disliked homosexuality, Gerard and Frank were both very open when it came to relationships, Frank just never saw Gerard in any way but platonic.
That doesn't mean he wouldn't flirt with his friend every now and then. Frank didn't think there was any harm in that.
That was, until he thought about it.
