The events of Edge of Disaster have left Task Force Anarchy, the Antarctican Army, and even the Martial Alliance in turmoil. The losses sustained on Alcatraz Island are so grievous and personal that they will have an effect on the outcome of the war. Drake, Camo, Gostt, and Glyphton must recover Dreemo, Felly, and Riker from Alcatraz and then formulate a new plan now that they've been exiled from Antarctica. Meanwhile, new leaders arise in both Antarctica and within the Martial Alliance, and Fragnile, Ursynz, Terasane, and Larikos' only hope of freedom lies with the intervention of newfound allies. During all of this, Omniscion's own struggle to cope with his losses drives him to a daring move that changes the face of the war.
