Shattered Heart (Red Queen)

Mare has been taken by Maven and is locked up in a cell. He tortures her with words and by other means. She doesn't know how long she has been there, but she does know that Cal isn't coming to rescue her. She has given up all hope.
Cal is desperately trying to get Mare back. He lost his father, his mother, and his brother, but he refuses to lose Mare. He is trying to come up with a plan to free her, but everything is too risky. But Cal will not just leave Mare to die.
Kilorn wants to get Mare back. He needs to get Mare back. He can't survive without her. He is now taking care of her family and working with Cal and her brothers to get her back.
Farley is left heartbroken. Her love was murdered and she didn't even get to say goodbye. He left her something, though. He left her with a child.
