read the title. you enroll in a new school and you know no one there. you meet Gaster-sans. the titled *school hottie* (if it is to blurry, the cover says "will people ever look past the outside and find the patience to look at my soul") She is broken, taunted and bullied, yet she keeps a smile. Unknowingly to others, it is a mask, and it is slipping. No one accepts her He is loved, cared for, and has everything, yet he is hiding his despair. He can't trust anyone with the truth, because he fears if he does, he won't be accepted They need someone to trust, someone to understand. Will they find someone to confide in with each other? Or are they going to keep the mask up until it is to late to take it off and drown in the pool of life's depression?

Beth's life was simple: go through school to get out, meaning she does have to be a bit of a good-girl. Once she finds out that the high school crush of every pubescent girl is the son of her father's friend, she's suddenly treated like the Queen of England. Her routines change as she is no longer able to go through her senior year peacefully. Will everything go wrong? Will her life be changed by one of the hottest guys in school? Disclaimer: this story depicts bullying and abuse that I (a then 13 year old) was unbeknownst to exaggerated and socialized ignorance. I very much don't agree with some decisions to move the plot forward though the story isn't all that. For young women reading, the treatment and abuse of some of these characters is absolutely unacceptable and be aware of that. This is just a trigger warning.
