She's worked her way through going to college. And while she was at college met Spencer Ried and Derek Morgen and has befriended them. Spencer a little more. She's worked her way through a heart crushing brake up. She's worked her way through being a cop and being shot at every day. But what happens next she wasn't prepared for. She's working in her office when the phone rings. Her mother is a drunken fool and can't be left alone. Now, Emilia has to take care of her mother.
