This Story takes place two years after Arthur dies. (Not in modern times so pretend the last scene in the last episode of Merlin never happened.) A young woman comes to Camelot in search of a place to stay and meets the young warlock Merlin, the two become close friends and soon much more then that, but the young girl has magic and even though magic is no longer outlawed she is not sure she wants to reveal it.
