We all have our little fall outs with siblings, right? Well what would your reaction be if something happened to them? Would you not care? Would you be worried? Would you cry? Now what if it was your whole family in danger? What if no one would listen to the local's warnings but you, yet your voice is outspoken and no one listens to you? What if you knew something terrible was going to happen but no one believes you and they say you're crazy? What if one by one your family grew smaller and smaller, yet there is no clear explanation as to why? Would you fight? Or would you run away?

"You shouldn't be here," I whisper-yelled to him. "I shouldn't," he agrees. "I should let them kill you," I added as he began to walk slowly towards me. "You should," he tucks a loose strand of hair behind my ear," But you won't." I'm about to argue that I will when he brings his lips down to meet mine in a slow, thought-halting kiss. Then another. Then another. ____ Do you know what death is like? I do. I've lived through a million deaths a million ways, it's all the same. There is no angel standing next to you to help you up, no bright light, just a cold feeling followed by something I can only describe as numb. I can't complain though, I was born to see these things. I was born to see death and to stop it. That's what oracles do. So when I foresee the death of the entire wolf race, I need to find a way to stop it. Only to find out that the one who ends the race is, in fact, my own mate. Can I find it in my heart to let him be killed? Or can I stop the end from coming another way? This is part of a series, you can get by without reading the first book but be warned that it contains spoilers if you read the previous one later. Book 2.
