SMILE is a short story I wrote for my English class' free write assignment. I had never intended for this to ever go public, but after I had let my dear friend @introvertt read it before submission she changed my mind.
shoutout to her for designing my ever so humble cover for my even humblr story.
this story is complete, yet it isn't. it's whatever you make it. it's not changing.
[maybe a year later] after reading this, i'm surprised that nearly 200 people have read this excuse of a story. i've even got fifteen votes (what the hell are votes)! i'm humbld by this and after reading your positive feedback i can now say that i have been working on a story for a while now. i'd say around four months ago i came up with a plot but since around April many things have happened, keeping me busy and . it's in the middle of summer now, and though i have a few summer courses i can hopefully find time to expand on the plot.
Don't hold your breath, though. I hope to surprise you all in a positive way. I'll spend all the time I have writing and editing before I show you the final piece. I won't even release parts separately. You'll get the whole thing.

(Not finished, never will finish it. Funny to say, I wrote this back in my first year of high school for, honestly, shits and giggle but it blew up???? Idk... but I kinda just lost the original plot so it's all over the place, grammar doesn't make sense, nothing in this fucking book makes sense. So my apologies for the dear people whom have read this. I apologize for it being the way it is and how my mind just simply fucked it all up. I thought I could personally make my way up to the top and be so damn happy with it, yet looking back at my 14/15 year old self, it simply was a rich feeling that I was on top; to be honest, I felt like I was best out of all. Looking back and maturing A LOT, I don't feel or think that way. I understand we all have different writing skills or grammar; but that is simply just not in my case. I wrote this out of being greedy and thinking I simply wanted everyone to like it but turns out; even the painter hates its awful paintings. So you may read it if you would like, or don't. Just... idk, thinking about simply deleting it.) [But what I wanted to say is sorry. At first I want to say some things, I have no idea what I will be writing because well, I will just go with the flow and write what comes into my head. I do not have any previous writing experience if you don't count a few quick story's in school on my native language class. If you have a suggestion on what I could write in the next chapter feel free to comment it at the end of the previous chapter also I will NOT be writing smut at all. The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" I ask, swinging my feel a little. He shakes his head shyly, his mouth not moving at all. Geez! Why do I want to hear this dude talk so much? "Okay, that's fine. I can give you a nickname." I offer happily. He looks up from his book, raising his eyebrows. I just stare for a moment. He has nice eyes. Pretty brown chocolate orbs. They remind me so much of....... "Teddy." He shakes his head immediately, frowning. "What, why not? You remind me of my old teddy bear. He was a good listener and he didn't talk much..... just like you." I say softly, tilting my head. He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" He sighs, the first sound I have ever heard him make. "No." . . . *Jordan* Teddy!? Seriously!? She gave me a fucking NICKNAME!? What the hell does this girl want!? I stuff my hands into my pockets, walking down the busy street. Forget about her. She's just a annoying pretty girl, she'll go away. Everybody does. She HAS to go away. *Spoiler alert*: she doesn't. Don't get close to people or they'll end up getting hurt. That's my mindset. I've been through enough of that. This girl doesn't belong in my world anyway. Origin of this story? This person I adore. Schools ending and I am not planning to confess to her so instead I just wrote everything that I imagined us doing in this story. but of course not all of them are based on facts especially the "smut" parts but anyway I hope you enjoy this short story :) UPDATE EVEN THOUGH I HAVENT PUBLISHED THIS. Its June 23rd. One more day til schools over. Guess what I just found out. Yea.. she's in a relationship. This might or might now affect the story line I'm originally planning to write.
