Kearrea Lumiére is a slave fighter her people are forced to use their gift’s they are born with from the Warrior Goddess to kill or manipulate whoever their master’s choose. Kearrea has the ability to heal almost any injury or illness; however her gift is also a curse. She can enter a person’s mind and make them endure the most unimaginable pain. What will happen when she disobeys her Master? Will it be her last act of defiance on this earth?
Nerick is an Angel that is wounded by a demon and tells his brothers to leave him behind. A group of hunters find him and take him to Kearrea’s Master, hoping to be rewarded. But in return are killed. Nerick wakes up and is thrown into the slave fighter’s pit. Leaving him until morning will people kill him or not; however someone comes to his recue and tries to help. His savior is Kearrea; she is near death as result of healing him and a beating. Both feel an instant bound towards the other. Is it a bond that warriors share when they fight for good against evil, or love? Or is it both?
Will Nerick and Kearrea’s brother Ian be able to save her? Or will their Master kill Nerick and have Kearrea and her powers all to himself?
