Rafe is an average guy. Average life, average grades, average girlfriend. He even looked average. He wasn't the type of guy you would see at the top of the class, but not the guy who flunked everything. His purpose in life was to keep on chugging along, not making a difference in anything, not doing much. Everything changed when he met Colby. Colby was the exact opposite of Rafe. He was living with an abusive boyfriend, flunking every class, depressed beyond belief. Rafe can now see the pain that people like him can cause by just standing to the side, and he's afraid that he'll never be able to unlearn what he has learned.
