Out of the Darkness

In a war torn world, with nuclear weapons and uncontrollable epidemics, new strange symptoms begin to occur. It had started in Africa. A new disease, labeled Juventas, spread throughout the globe. It had seemed like a harmless disease, with symptoms of irritated skin, and then it would seemingly disappear. But then large amounts of infected adults died within months, none able to find a cure quickly enough. A smaller number of children died; most survived the illness, that ravaged across every country. Those children, of the amount that was exposed to the radiation of a new bomb developed by scientists, and deployed across the globe, developed strange powers.
