Back in high school, Hunter Collins wasn't the best of guys. But, in an effort to clean up his act and honor his family's legacy, he joins the ROTC program for his college of choice. Completing his school credits, Hunter is called to a base in Chicago, only to be told he is being enlisted sooner than expected. He proudly serves his country overseas, but when his best friend gets shot down in the last few seconds of their mission, Hunter must fulfill the promise made to the fallen soldier.
Hunter has to not only break the news to his dead best friends family, but he has to save the 17 year old girl who is going to have her life torn away from her once she knows about her deceased brother.
