People often ask me, "What's it like to be in foster care?" With so many books, movies, and TV shows, there are many misconceptions. Every one of us foster kids have the same story. We have all been through abuse. Whether it was before we were in the system or when we were brought into the system. Each story is heartbreaking and affects every one of us in a different way. Here's just one of the stories. Here's mine.
