Tales of Woe

After a period of peace and prosperity, tensions on the great island of Arthos and the surrounding islands are building and are on the brink of civil war. A series of events including love, plots, lies, and betrayal will throw Arthos back into the dark period of civil wars it was once in. The civil war and the psychological war between characters will be put aside after a much greater evil is revealed.

This is the first draft of a story I have accumulated in my head over a period of time. The first draft is used to set up a story of an imaginary land and the people that inhabit it. There might be some inconsistencies in the story and that's why you and I are here - to make the story better and I would appreciate if you would point out some of the fails in the story and of course state any grammatical errors that may have occurred while writing.

This story is near and dear to me and I hope as you read it will become an enjoyment to you too. I am working on the story as I go and currently am collecting all the information and working on concept art and maps which will accompany and reflect the story in a visual way.

#sidenote:
This isn't a story of one character or a story of many. It is a story of a land which is currently under the pressure of ruling and people are behaving in certain ways which will inevitably lead into its downfall. That's why I chose to tell the story of the land through the perspectives of different characters. It will not only give you the sense of the world but it will give you an insight into the thoughts and motives of particular characters.
