Sincerely Yours

Amelia Hallick (known as Mel) and Nicholas Cruz (known as Nick) were best friends since they were 11. When they were 15, Nick went away with his family to Florida for a couple of weeks. Mel jokingly told him to write a letter, and he did. That's how it started. They wrote letters back and forth, shoving them in each others' lockers. Then, they fell in love. The letters became more regular by this time. It wasn't a joke between friends anymore, it was an old tradition between lovers. Then, they fell apart. All Amelia had to cling on to were her letters from Nick, and a few letters she wrote after that never made it to his locker. Every other memory was exactly that, a memory.
