At the height of Roman Catholic religious fervor, circa 1960, a select group of twelve year old boys, from a catholic grammar school in Oradell, NJ, felt the "calling" to a religious vocation, to both the secular order of the Archdiocese and various religious orders. This is a story of ideals and then disappointment, the somewhat fictionalized journey of one of those who were "called".
