"Shawn..." She said worried shifting in her seat uncomfortable, and terrified at the scene.
I could see her look through the rear-view mirror looking at the car behind us that had been following us for a while in the heavy rain as I slowly sped the car tapping my fingers on the steering wheel. It's tinted windows hid the monster deep within the black vehicle as it's plate numbers were covered up in what seemed to be a black plastic bag. I bit my lip as they began to speed up, already at the tail of my bumper. A whimper managed to escape her lips as we began to swerve.
"Shawn! Be careful! Please!" She cried.
The bumper was hit making our bodies jerk as I immediately turned the steering wheel right which caused the car to slide on the street. I looked out my window as we slid off the road tumbling down the mountain. A tight scream left her mouth as I tried holding up the lid of the car as we hit water slowly sinking. She pulled at the seat belt trying to pry it off as I removed mine. I felt my feet soak in the clear liquid that slowly filled the car as she began to sob.
"Just go, leave, you'll be safer! Go!"
"I'm not leaving you! I'll get you out! I-"
She held my hand and shook her head.
"It's okay... I'll be okay"
I shook my head and tried to free her from the belt, the water at my waist. I dug in my pocket and found a pocket knife quickly opening it cutting off the grey belt. She took off her necklace and put it on me. Her lips met mine as she nodded and whispered,
"I can't swim..."

Aurora sat in the passenger seat, her hands folded tightly in her lap. Her long, black dreadlocks cascaded down her back, swaying slightly with each bump in the road. Her chocolate skin glistened faintly under the dim light of the car, but she didn't notice. The world outside the window passed by in muted shades of gray and green, the trees thick with mist, the road winding up a steep hill that seemed to stretch on forever. Her mom was talking again, her voice upbeat and false. "This is for the best, baby. I know you don't think so now, but this place will help you heal. You're going to meet people who can understand what you've been through. You just need to open up. To let go of the past." Aurora clenched her jaw, feeling the heat rise in her chest. Her ex's house had been reduced to ash and rubble, the flames of her anger licking the air like something she couldn't control. But this-this place? It felt wrong from the start. The truth was, she didn't belong here. Not in the sterile hallways of Whispering Pines, not in the cold, uncaring arms of a psych ward, and certainly not under the watchful eyes of the people who had decided to send her away. "You'll see, honey," her mom continued, her voice syrupy sweet. "You'll get better. You'll be happy again." Aurora looked out the window, not trusting herself to speak. If only her mom knew the truth. The truth about how the fire had felt-how, for the first time in forever, she'd felt alive. She wasn't sorry. Not really. Aurora didn't know it yet, but this place would change her. Change all of them. And soon, the obsession would turn into something darker-something dangerous. They would kill for each other, lie for each other, and cross lines they never imagined. And in the end, none of them would be able to escape the pull. But to my surprise, the car swerves to the side slightly next to me and comes to a stop. I take a deep breath I didn't know I was holding at the driver's side door swings open and a very pissed off Axel steps out. "Thank god," I mumble and place my hands on my knees to catch my breath. "Blaze?" He says and I hate it. I hate how he says my name as if it's his. Like he knows it's the only thing I want to hear, him calling out to me, looking at me, focused to me. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. "Don't run from me Blaze it won't go well," he growls reading my thoughts causing me to freeze in my spot. "Do not ever think you can get away from me."Complete

"I have fallen completely in love with you all over again," I started as I looked up at Shawn, he just stared at me in shock, "everything you do, everything you say, everything you are, Shawn. I was walking to the grocery store when I thought some one was following me I turned around and saw no one there so I brushed it off by the way my name is Lara and I was being followed by someone my whole life! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I WAS about to turn the corner when someone grabbed me and used their hands to cover mt mouth. I struggled and managed to push the person off and started sprinting down the street, yelling 'HELP'. I turned back to get a glance at the man who attacked me. I saw his face and it was Der!!! "What the hell Derek!"I shouted " I was scared shit-less that it was a kidnapper or murderer or gang member" It was NYC, who knew what happens at night and what kind of dangerous people are out there. "Shh"he said and covered my mouth. I bit his hand and he removed his hand from my mouth. "Ah, what was that for?" he yelled, his eyes getting darker as he pouted and rubbed his hand. "I don't know what you're up to but you're so being dumped"I told him. He was acting crazy and it was driving me insane because he wasn't telling me anything. He growled and ran towards him with his hands out wide to try and grab me, but I turned and kicked him in the leg as he fell to the ground. "Ha take that I took karate" I said proudly as he was groaning. I was a black belt student. I started sprinting when I turned the corner I saw Derek again with his eyes as dark as the night sky. She was open-mouthed with disbelief. It was a bad idea; a surge lifted her and slapped salt water into her mouth. Bile burned her throat as she coughed and all the while she was still flailing at the water, fighting the drag of shoes and clothes to keep afloat. She should kick them off-that's what you were supposed to do if you fell into the ocean with your clothes on-but she was only a dozen feet from the dock. Besides, it was her only coat. "You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at. His jawline was firm and he is extremely tall compared to my 5'3" height; he seems like he's 6'1". He looks in good shape -- the white shirt he was wearing showed off his broad muscular chest. He wore a leather-mans jacket from the school over the t-shirt, with black denim jeans, and converse. I swallowed. I snapped out of it and took the paper forcing myself to say "thanks." However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. Out of all the guys that have hit on me in school today he is the only one that has caught my eye -- bad news is that he didn't even bother. "You know him? I'm surprised the cheer-bitch hasn't threatened you yet." Jessica said, her face showing shock. "Um, no I don't know him... and cheer-bitch?" I frowned confused. "Continue, Continue." He watched me closely before leaning closer to me again. "I can have you killed-" Suddenly, I lost it again, laughing harder, bending a little to hold my stomach. He punched the wall in an effort to scare me but instead made me laugh even harder, falling to the ground and rolling on my side. Soon I had his friend laughing with me as the man in front of me glared at both of us. "Don't give me that look. She's the one who started laughing." His friend said, wheezing a little bit and trying to stop laughing. I calmed down a bit, standing up to face them, a smile on my face. "Now, if you're done threatening me," I raise an eyebrow. "Or at least trying to. I'll be on my way." With that, I grabbed my backpack, turned my back to them, and walked away.Complete

The rain started running down my face as I started thinking of a way out of here. My body trembled in fear knowing that he could easily hurt me. He said in a deep low voice, almost a growl, and his eyes seemed to have gotten darker. 'What the hell is that supposed to mean?!' I tried taking a step back but his grip on my arm tightened. It hurt. "L-let me go, you, you're hurting me!" I looked up at him scared, his eyes were now completely dark, and the next thing I noticed were pointed teeth poking out from his lips. I screamed and pushed at him but he didn't budge. I then raised my knee and kneed him between the legs with all my force, and he dropped like a rock, holding his groin. Run. I took my chance. He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" He sighs, the first sound I have ever heard him make. "No." . . . *Jordan* Teddy!? Seriously!? She gave me a fucking NICKNAME!? What the hell does this girl want!?
