  The prophets of the Cipher Wheel, to be more specific.
  Mabel, Dipper, Stan, Ford, Soos, Pacifica, Gideon, McGucket, Robbie, and Wendy are all presumed dead when they disappear after Bill's defeat.
  But they aren't dead. Not really.
