The Werewolf meeting is a tradition occurring every ten years, taking place at different destinations, this time it was Alice Adams pack, MoonShadow pack.
Everyone was weary of this tradition because of what happened the last time this meeting had been conducted.
The pack of which this meeting had taken place it was destroyed and deaths occurred, after some sort of Alpha disagreement.
This year, the Alpha Nick the Alpha of Alice's pack was determined for it to take place.
Alice and her friends soon find out something was going to happen, something that would cause an immense war and deaths. Even though they were a bunch of normal teenage wolves, they knew they had to do something to stop it.
The Alpha of her pack was not planning a normal meeting, he was planning revenge.

The Whipping
After an Alpha has given up looking for their mate, and they need a Luna to help run the pack, they will organise an event known as The Whipping. Female volunteers from packs around the country will put themselves forward if they wish to be in the chance of becoming a Luna. These she-wolves would be whipped in front of all the packs, again and again until their backs were red raw and blood covered. The last female remaining would be given the title of Luna as the Alpha would only want the strongest wolf to help run his pack. Most wolves gave up and quit as they couldn't take the pain, but some head-strong females would go until they were no longer breathing. It was an ugly tradition, from years ago. I had never heard of one happening in this day and age...until that day... Until I met him... On the day of The Whipping...Complete

A pack is only as strong as it's alpha, a weak alpha means a weak pack, and no pack can survive with just a Luna or just an alpha. A pack needs both, but when your alpha is a 76 year old, your Luna passed away, and their only child is a girl, things get a little complicated. 76 year old Jed found his mate at 50 years old, the two were only able to have one miracle baby. Jed knows that his pack needs a new alpha and Luna quickly because of his age and his health problems. He knew how hard it was for him to find his mate, and he did not want the same for his daughter. He called an old friend who has a son around the age of his daughter and made a deal with him, train your son to be an alpha and your next generation will be set.... It's a lot more to the story, you just have to read to fine out...I MEAN A LOT. this will be kinda like a part 3 to the full moon, but if you didn't read "FULL MOON"and "THE UNWANTED MATE" you will still be able to understand.
