Ellie Lane leaves her small hometown in Texas after almost being killed and kidnapped. She wants a fresh start where nobody will pity her for what has happened in her past. She decides to start her new life in Southern California. Along with starting her first year of college. One day, a love interest sparks for Ellie when someone breaks into her apartment.
