Remi Langston is finally happy. She’s starting her final year of high school, her grades are impeccable, and she’s finally found a job. It is at an elderly home, but that’s neither here nor there. She can finally buy a car. It’s a hunk of junk but so what.

But the point of the matter was, she was finally content with her easy life. At least that was what she thought until Adam entered. The newly adopted son of an elderly retired scientist, Adam is everything a girl could ever want in a boyfriend.

That is until Remi starts noticing odd things about Adam leading her to believe that maybe he was created not born, which is terrifying. Because let’s face it, all in all, who would want to be dating Frankenstein?

Megan Stewart hasn't known much happiness. She's only 17, but her life has been hard. However, despite all that she's been through, Megan keeps a smile on her face. Meet Jared Wesly. He's the bad boy of the school. However, he's not so much a bad boy. He's simply misunderstood. Only, he's been through quite a lot, just like Megan. In fact, they have more in common than Megan knows. When Jared and Megan's worlds collide (quite literally), Megan finds herself drawn to the boy that annoys her to no end, teases her, but makes her feel happy and protected, something almost unknown to her. Megan must make a choice in the end: Does she take a chance with the familiar boy, or does he become another "What if?" in her life? NOTE: I first wrote this story when I was around 13-14, so there will be cliches and cringe-worthy writing at moments. *Caution: Some language*
