Sarah Kensington Thorne. Daughter of Innkeepers...or not? Sarah roams the high seas as one of the youngest female pirates ever. She runs a tight but fair ship, with a budding romance with a crew member that she cannot hide. Her days of sailing turn dark when she receives a letter from a trusted land-based friend telling her of her father's death and her mother's subsequent kidnapping. It only gets worse from then on with a stowaway, her brother's mysterious appearance and the tug of a Pirate's weakness: Gold. Join Sarah Thorne and her crew aboard The Devil's Slave. A plundered Spanish Galleon.

This is rated PG. I intend it to be rousing but also not a teen and Young Adult novel. I like reading calmer, cleaner stuff right along with the darker, more adult stuff.
