16 year old Lydia Marie Gray has never felt normal. Maybe it's because she's not. After experiencing what she can only explain as an awful headache, Lydia tumbles down the stairs and is taken to the hospital, where she meets a man named Damien. Damien explains to Lydia that she is a special person with a special ability- the ability to read minds. In order for Lydia to train and understand her newfound ability, she must leave everyone she loves behind, including her 10 year old sister, Erika. When Lydia starts to have second-thoughts about leaving, Erika does everything she can to convince her to go. Finally, the choice is made and Lydia is taken to a top-secret government facility where she will start living. Lydia starts training for the new life she has ahead of her. Everything changes when Ares Valentine, a boy who shares Lydia's abilities and more, arrives at the facility. Lydia can't help but wonder if this was more than just a coincidence.

Dana is anything but the average 18 teen year old girl. She's living in a literal hell where she is forced to read minds. In all the stories and TV shows she'd seen, there was a perk to this. You'd get more information or have the upper hand, that is, if you could control it. Unfortunately she had never had a breakthrough in stopping it... because the older she got the more powerful her skill became. In a world where she is the only one like this, she remains isolated and alone with no way of stopping her tragic future. Dana is stuck in an endless loop of trying to go unnoticed in her highschool while just trying to die peacefully. That is, until she meets someone who's mind she can't read. *Completed*
