16 year old Lydia Marie Gray has never felt normal. Maybe it's because she's not. After experiencing what she can only explain as an awful headache, Lydia tumbles down the stairs and is taken to the hospital, where she meets a man named Damien. Damien explains to Lydia that she is a special person with a special ability- the ability to read minds. In order for Lydia to train and understand her newfound ability, she must leave everyone she loves behind, including her 10 year old sister, Erika. When Lydia starts to have second-thoughts about leaving, Erika does everything she can to convince her to go. Finally, the choice is made and Lydia is taken to a top-secret government facility where she will start living.
Lydia starts training for the new life she has ahead of her. Everything changes when Ares Valentine, a boy who shares Lydia's abilities and more, arrives at the facility. Lydia can't help but wonder if this was more than just a coincidence.

Will Zoe survive her brother's fury and earn his acceptance, or will she be forced to return to the life she left behind? All she wants is a place where she belongs. ✶ ✶ ✶ I followed her eyes wandering around the circle and halted on me. Her lips curved upwards and my forehead creased in confusion. She stood from her place and ambled towards me, making my eyes go round. Why the hell is she coming towards me?! Stopping in front of me, she bent her beautiful face and peeked at me through her eyelashes. "Can I kiss you... Griffin?" She asked, blinking her gorgeous blue eyes. Holy Cow! She expects me to answer that?! My throat suddenly felt dry, and no word come out of my mouth. From the corner of my eye, I saw Will glaring at her while others snickered. My eyes automatically fluttered close as Zoe leaned in until our noses touched. I felt my heart thumping in my ears and my breath hitched. F**k, I'm in trouble! ✶ ✶ ✶ [Words count: 60,000 - 90,000]

Highest rank: #1 in Teen-Fiction and sci-fi romance, #1 mindreader, #2 humor Aaron's special power might just be the coolest- or scariest- thing ever! It's always helped with his bad-boy reputation, his rightfully arrogant all-knowing intimidation seemed to go a long way with his love life and somehow also his education. Until he met Violet, one of the smartest girls in school; a girl he's been using for years, zoning in on her mind to ultimately cheat on exams and steal the title of valedictorian. Until one day, Violet failed him. Her mind wandered all over the place- her parent's divorce, her breakup, and he couldn't help but sympathize. But Violet's a smart girl, who knows how long it'll take before she finds out. Aaron depends so much on his mind-reading capabilities that when they suddenly disappear- so does everything he hasn't worked for. His secret was like Samson and his hair, once it's told, the magic's all gone.
