This is the sequel to "Ezra's new life". Please read that before reading this. This takes place 3 months after "Ezra's new life" do no age or look differences in the characters.

Ezra was sent on a solo scouting mission to Malicore only for him to never return. A ruthless father sets out to find his newly adopted son and makes a shocking descovery of his son's state of mind.
