First Degree

Gianna Alexander was only sixteen when she met Marcus Anderson, the man who she'd fallen hard for and had eventually had a child with years later. The notorious man had taken the once innocent church girl and showed her the streets and her life was never quite the same.

Now at the age of twenty four Gianna and Marcus had long been over and he was in the middle of serving a five year prison sentence. Gianna had moved on to Alonzo Marshall who'd set his sights on the single mother and unlike Marcus he was just starting out in the drug world trying to build a name for himself, but that proves to be difficult when he burns the wrong bridges and unintentionally starts a drug war amongst some of the kingpins in Florida.

Things heat up once Marcus is released from prison earlier than expected with blood and revenge on his mind and Gianna is stuck in the middle of the brewing feud between her baby daddy and her current boyfriend.

When the fast life starts to catch up and become too much for her, Gianna realize it's too late to go back and is forced to choose between life or death when the lies and deceit come out.
