19/1/16 The day I lost everything, well what I had left at least, my mum died in childbirth and when I was 15 my dad was arrested for a crime he didn't commit. To evade the social services I ran away, becoming a homeless teen on the streets of Glasgow that is of course until I met Dani and Sami ... A year later and I'm one of the most elite members of the infamous Glasgow pickpocket gangs "The Blue Devils". Everything was going smoothly until Junior Detective Joseph Simmons Started poking his nose where it didn't belong.

After having some pretty intense re-occurring nightmares I decided to deal with it by writing them out. This is only a small chunk of the large story but I hope you enjoy. The story tells of myself and my battle with cleaning up my dad's past after being killed with my mum by a global gang called the KVA. "The money" refers to the money that dad should have made on deal and the reason why he died. The money should've gone to a guy in the KVA but when it didn't turn up, he was killed. If I ever get around to writing that far into my story, the money is a very large sum of money: $219 million to be sorta precise. (And thanks @sassy_sausage for making the awesome cover!)Complete

Book 1 Lily There's this old saying that every story has a beginning, except I'm not really sure where mine began. My story doesn't consist of sunshine and rainbows. It's about heartbreak, trauma and abuse. But it's also about survival. I lost my mom when I was just five years old. And the Mahoney's made my life a living hell. I suffered years of abuse at their hands. So much so, I prayed everyday that they would hurry up and kill me. That was until Mason made me a promise. Then I prayed that he would keep it. Mason I would say I had good childhood. My parents were well off so naturally I attended the best schools around, always had the best of everything. My dad was the boss in his line of work. He was a debt collector, or so I thought until I turned 15 and realized exactly what kind of debt collector he was. I grew up in a million dollar neighborhood, in a million dollar home. But things aren't always as they appear. My neighbors, the Mahoney's seemed like a nice family on the outside. Truth was they weren't very nice people. I knew this because my dad had to handle some business with them once. So avoided them as much as possible. That was until they adopted Lily. She was like sunshine on a rainy day. And I couldn't keep myself away. We were best friends and told each other everything, well almost.Complete

After my escape, and yet another but brutal last year at the same high school, my school sent me their condolences and made sure to inform my future college of my past.
