Story Title: The Lavaliere
Over View: necklaces (lavalieres) are given to us at birth. They would be a certain shape that is different than. As you got closer your soulmate your necklace would get warmer but if you got closer to someone who has potential to hurt or who is not your soul mate your necklace would get extremely cold. Unbearable. In this story Maria Grace lives in a very remote village in Italy. Her mother and father believe strongly in the faith of the necklaces. They had met by the necklaces. However Maria seems to have doubts. Her necklace never changed, never hot nor cold. As she explains this to her mother she does not believe Maria, because it had never happened before everyone's necklace worked so why shouldn't Maria's? As Maria aged up to 18 she was ready to go explore the world. When children would come of age they would leave their parent for a span of 3 years in search for their true mate. However Maria does not plan to return. She is going to find her TRUE love and to figure out what is wrong with her necklace. As she is on her journey she faces many obstacles and challenges that change her views on the world and her parents. She also meets a boy, whose necklace is an exact copy of hers. Her journey may change her life, but the question is for the good or the better.

There could be gay matches, and there could even be polyamorous matches. The tattoos will tingle when you are near to your sm. And they will glow if you have found only one of your sm's if your match was poly. The trick is, you don't get the tattoo until you are 16. And even if you are near your match, as long as one of you are not of age, your tattoo will not tingle.
