A teenage boy named Gillian Jack Shaw, learns falling in love at the young age of 15. Going under the pressure of both puberty and the divorce of his parents, Gill pretty much lost it. He felt hopeless, and despaired for the attention of others. He did nasty things. Things a normal boy his age won't do. Like, screw older women, deal drugs, and get into fights with policemen. His dad, who won over his custody battle, has given up on him, and decided to surrender custody to marry model and designer, Lilly Hills. Gillian was then sent to an unknown country. Tropical, coconut-y but definitely not Hawaii. As soon as he could use the Wifi, he googled where he was. Philippines. He knew Jeminina Soledad Garcia was a Filipina. He knew he was part-Filipino. But never in a billion years has he thought about visiting this side of him. Ninoy International Airport, it read. He shrugged, sticking out like a sore thumb with pale blue-gray eyes, jet black hair, pale (now pink and blotchy) skin, and a five-foot-eight height, he trod towards his mother. In this country, many things happened. One was, he met a young girl two years older than him, and fell in love. Arianne Andrea Andrada. That was her name. He had a very colorful ride with the girl. Learning love in its purer sense, maturity, and hurt. It was summer back then, meeting her along with her colorful dreams and views, he was inspired to start planning his future, and he began seeing life in her rose-colored lens. Ari lived 9 hours away, and he dreamt; to study in her university, to live with her until the grey of times, to love her broken or whole. But after all the changes of seasons, summer was when it all began, and where it will always be... ...until the end.
