Centuries after the big bomb went off in a place once called Times Square and the country was broken up into factions of warring territories, a family resides near the ruins of a once mighty city. Siblings Taypher, Thalia, Theo, and Tracy should never have been named. Names are against the law in Imperium, the country that makes up the northern territories. Here, babies are given numbers from the government, not names from parents. Here, the government controls everything and knows all. Yet still some manage to keep secrets.
