Tara Winters was the most popular girl in Paradise high school. But she wasn't known for her good looks, or any superficial thing like that (although everyone believed she was, by far, the prettiest girl in school) she was known for her personality. She was the sweetest girl that you would ever meet. She cared about the earth, about people, animals, you name it. And that is why Seeley Thyne, the new kid, fell instantly in love. Seeley moved to the small town of Paradise, with his Uncle Albert after losing his parents in a plane crash. Seeley doesn't want to be in Paradise but changes his mind after seeing the resident good girl Tara. And after setting his sites on her he'll do anything to win her over. Blake Winters knows that no one really sees her. And even though she's twins with the famous Tara Winters, she couldn't be more different than her. Unlike her sister, Blake doesn't go out of her way to make people feel good about themselves. Why do that for them if they ignore her, right? As perfect as Tara seems to be, Blake knows the real Tara, the one that no one sees except for Blake, but who'd believe her? She's just jealous of her 'perfect' twin sister. But that couldn't be further from the truth. Seeley's and Blake's worlds collide as Seeley attempts to win Tara's heart and Blake just tries to get through high school and survive paradise.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
