What if you were told you had a disease that would cause you to literally lose your mind? That question had never crossed Katrina Williams 16 year old mind. However after an incident at school, that question smacks her in the face. 

Taken away from her friends and family and isolated from the outside world, Katrina finds herself trapped in an institute with a group of teenagers, all sick with the same disease. There she meets the group's leader, Ash, a cold and callous boy who seems to take an instant dislike to her.

Soon Katrina realises none of them show any symptoms or signs of insanity, causing her to question whether the disease even exists or if they are there for a darker, sinister reason and how come they are being continually tested, examined and tortured when they disobey.
