Astrid’s childhood imaginary friend is real and he wants to help her save her parents who are destined to die on 1st December 2013. Something’s not quite right though and soon Astrid is thrown into a whole new world of adventure. (This is the story I wrote for NaNoWriMo. It’s a first draft and I've posted it here in its beautifully unedited form, so expect to see many mistakes!)

That is, until the town's leader gathers enough men to track Ivy, and take her back to the village to be burned. Evelyn knows that she'll be next - being the only descendant of Ivy. She packs up her few belongings and gallops deeper and deeper into the woods until her eyelids fall, causing her to lose control of the horse, fall off of it and into a black abyss.
