Lady Arianel is a member of a guild so secretive it is only known in the community of Power. When she is issued a promotion to the rank of Gray Witch after witnessing a prophesy and the immediate slaying of the sooth seer who gave it she must battle with her feelings, status, friends and sometimes even her own guild to discover the answer. Knowing that all of the Paths and Powers lay there fates in her hands she struggles to weave a web and catch The One. Or was it The Ones? She will have to answer this question and others all while trying to dodge the Etayans who seek to slay those of a Path for the use of the Power.
