I see the real meaning in Jen's eyes. Her worries for going home to her overly strict parents. Her fears for the future and the unknown in general. "If we lived in the forest we wouldn't have gummy bears any more." I comment to lighten the mood. She doesn't find it funny. "I'm serious Remi! What if we did run away?" "Jen, we can't just run away. I know your parents are strict but I truly think they just want what's best for you." She says nothing. For a moment I fear she's mad at me but then she puts her head on my shoulder and I know we're okay.

I'm different, I can read and see what people think. Every moment of everyday... it's not normal. I've been this way for too long. Ever since I saw my best friends dad die in front of my own two, once blue eyes. My now gold orbs, seeing the world for what it actually is. I asked you nicely" with that he turned and stormed out of the library, others following him behind. ________________________________________ Elly was a quiet and smart girl who had a promising future as a doctor. Her mother being a famous and respected doctor in the werewolf society she had only one dream and it was to become a doctor like her mom. Being a Luna was something she never wanted and she didn't expect her mate to be the future Alpha of her pack, her enemy. What else she could do other than hiding when she knew he was not going to let her go no matter what. The future Alpha Drake waited his whole life for his mate and it only made him angry when he figured out that his mate was hiding from him.
