Jasmine is a trained vampire learning to overcome her thirst. She walks home after meeting up with some friends and is suddenly chased through the forest by someone. She thinks that he is just some storker or spy trying to scare her but shes wrong it is her soul mate. There is a small but very intense pull making them find it unbearable to be apart. The only problem is that they are both mortal enemies that can never be together because both sides despise one another. And to add to the problems shes part of the royal family of vampires along with the rest of her family. Will Jasmine and her soul mate ever be together? Or will Jasmines temptation for power be too strong and mean that she would give up her one and only soul mate for power and greed?
Sorry for getting rid of the book once bitten. I just felt that it wasnt getting many votes because it wasnt good enough. Sorry hopfully this book will be even better and will make up for it. Hope you like it.

Phoenix is trying to do her job and protect the innocent, only this certain vampire has gone on a killing spree, and won't stop. And definitely doesn't care what some little old witch says, and every time she tries to kill her she threatens to kill her family, starting with her mother. While reading this book you will learn, that witches were chosen to protect because even though vampires have the power to kill, witches are stronger. And phoenix will learn the ups and downs of a vampire and also learn to reunite both sides in order to defeat a common enemy. The only question is will she survive this nightmare.
