It's a typical boy-meets-girl story but with a circus and revelations I haven't written yet. The first chapter of my NaNoWriMo short story. It's my first year so I'm only aiming for 25,000 words. I made this account so I could receive feedback and advice. I can't write descriptions.

18 November, 2024 The 10K Nanowrimo i wish I woulda submitted when I was 14. Told in 4 parts, this is an unedited, first draft literary story bordering on poetic style prose. There are elements of psychological, general, teen, and horror. This isn't a cautionary tale, it's just a tale. Some that one can relate to. It's hard to trust people, especially the ones who make you feel really good really fast. But you must have discernment in this life or there'll be consequences. M is your Northern California bred protagonist who has a plethora of friends sandwiched in her daily routine. She's just like you, she works, she drinks after work, she goes home. But then there's a guy....there's always a guy isn't there? This is how she and her small universe copes.Complete

Over the Wall: A Collection of Short Stories (NaNoWriMo 2014)
This year for NaNoWriMo, I am writing a short story anthology. It will feature thirty or so short stories (my hope is to write one per day to fulfill my 1,667 per day word requirement) about varying things. Each morning, I will randomly select a number between one and thirty and I will look at the corresponding list of first lines I will have. I will take that line and write a short story using it and then the next day I will do the process over again (some stories might relate to each other, some might not). Anyway I will edit the story for that day and post it here. It may not be posted exactly on the corresponding day, but in the end there will be thirty short stories. P.S. Although these are somewhat edited they are still rough drafts so please treat them as such.Complete
