After the death of his best friend, Luke sold his house and his shop and moved out of state. Everything in North Carolina reminded him of his best friend, and it probably didn't help that he took a few of Johnathan's things with him. I know these are real people and I try not to put them in a story that was like- disgusting. I don't actually ship them together irl, just like the concept. Literally.
