"Could I check lost and found."
"Sure, right this way."
The door to the little dusty room creaked open. The receptionist grinned, calling into the room, "Another lost one!"
"What do you mean-" I was shoved in the dark room, the door creaking as it closed behind me.
I looked wide eyes back at the door, pulling and twisting the knob, but it was shut fast. I pounded on the door, yelling, "Let me out! Whats going on?"
A voice hissed from the darkness. "Man, missed my chance of escape."

''Hey," I greet them. The scary looking one doesn't spare me a glance. The one with green eyes keeps talking, but the blue eyed one looks up at me for a second then back at his book. He sort of does a double take and his eyes widen as he looks back up at me. "Is this seat taken?'' I ask with a small smile. Blue eyes elbows the other two and they look up at me, one with wide eyes and the other with a stone cold glare. "Is she talking to us?" The green eyed mumbles, his wide eyes not leaving me. The wooden floorboards creak underneath my footsteps as I walk down the abandoned hallway, my flashlight swinging back and forth in front of me. *Rejected at First Sight* Spin-off series (By GirlWhoChasesRainbow) 🌶 "Oomph!" The sound rushed out of my mouth as the door opened before I could reach the handle and my body hits a wall. I stumble backwards slightly before a hand wraps around my waist, keeping me from falling. Looking up, I realize this wasn't a wall, but instead a very attractive male. A very messy, but definitely sexy, mop of black hair sat on top of his head. When I looked closer, I realized that it was a deep shade of brown that was probably often mistaken for black. My gaze traveled to his eyes, where I found two deep ocean blue eyes looking at me. I kept going further down to his too crooked nose to be called straight, which I assumed came from too many fights. His skin was tanned, but an olive tone suggested he had a natural darker complexion to begin with. My eyes finally found his pink, very plump lips which were resting slightly open. His lips jerked up into a lopsided sneer as his hand snapped back to his side. The sudden movement left my back cold, as if his palm had been a source of warmth. "You've got to be kidding me!" His tone dripped with disgust. My eyes turned to questioning as I looked back up into his eyes. I brought my hand up to rub my nose, squinting at the slight pain. "What the hell." He grumbled. "I, Jay Julian, reject you as my mate." He, or Jay, said with venom lacing his voice. He quickly turned and walked down the now vacant hallway with no glance back. Rejection? What the hell was that? Was it some sort of local lingo? How did I get rejected on my first day? The first person I make eye contact with at this school rejects me. I guess that's how this school works, if the hottest boy in school rejects you, you're a nobody. If that's how this small town school worked, then I was screwed.
