His dad is the main person concerned about the future Luna skin color. His abusive dad threatens to kill his mate if she's of color so is his preference in dating based on avoidance of conflicts ? The moon goddess doesn't give him a mate based on what his father will condone. When he meets his black and Mexican mate... he hurts her, bullies her, and most importantly Rejects her. Rejection from your mate can feel and lead to death of your wolf. At first she thinks he's just scared and doesn't take his rejected too hard but it still hurts. At a high school party he gets intoxicated with his friends and tends to find someone to bring upstairs to have fun with. Your typical fuck boy. His mate comes to the party and he brings her outside to apologize speaking based off his true emotions. Unfortunately later he won't let her think that was him showing his vulnerable side. He takes her virginity that night just to turn around early in the morning and treat her like she was just a piece of meat to him.
