Mouse is an young and ordinary forest cat who lives with his parents in a forest. All is fine and peaceful until a forest fire starts and kills his parents. Mouse is left alone and wandering the forest in his depressive state, and he soon bumps into the most extraordinary she-cat he had ever seen. They form a close friendship and go almost everywhere together. Mouse decides to visit his old home one last time, and that's when he met a demon that claimed to be able to revive his parents for something very valuable as long as he came to the spiritual world. Will Mouse join this demon to the spirit world, or stay in the mortal world, where he might never be able to see his parents again?
